Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and AlwaysHired ("we", "us") about using Jerry at textjerry.com and in chat. By signing in or chatting with Jerry you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

What Jerry is

• Jerry is an AI job coach for people looking for sales jobs. It's software, not a person, and not a recruiter or agent acting on your behalf.
• Jerry drafts and coaches; you decide and act. It never applies to jobs for you. It only sends an email or creates something in an account you've connected after you've seen it and replied yes.
• Coaching follows AlwaysHired's method. It isn't legal, financial or immigration advice.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. Membership is by invite or approval by AlwaysHired. Your account is for you only: give accurate details, keep your phone (and your Discord account, if you use it) secure, don't share private links Jerry sends you, and never send a login code because someone else asked you to.

No guarantees, and AI can be wrong

• We can't promise you a job, an interview or a reply from anyone. Match scores are estimates.
• Jerry can make mistakes. Read every draft before you send it, and check job details, pay and company facts at the source before you rely on them. You're responsible for what you send and submit.
• Jerry only uses facts you've given it. Keep it that way: don't ask it to invent experience or numbers, and don't present anything on your CV that isn't true.

Your content

Your messages, CV and documents stay yours. You let us use them only to run Jerry for you, as the privacy policy describes. Only share what you have the right to share.

Connected accounts

Connecting Google, Microsoft 365 or a job board is optional, and you can disconnect at any time. Those services' own terms also apply to your use of them.

Jobs and contacts

• Roles come from AlwaysHired's hiring partners and from other job sources. We don't control those employers or listings.
• AlwaysHired works with partner employers and may be paid when it helps them hire. Jerry tells you when a role is a partner role and may show partner roles first. It never shares your profile or CV with an employer without asking you.
• Contacts Jerry suggests (for example a hiring manager) come from business data providers. Reach out politely and lawfully, one person at a time, and stop if someone asks you to. No spam.

Fair use

Don't use Jerry to break the law, harass or deceive anyone, send spam, impersonate someone, scrape or overload the service, get around its limits or safety checks, or try to reach other members' data. Don't resell access or use it to coach other people commercially.

Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your data by typing !delete in the chat or on your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we may change or stop Jerry; if we stop it, we'll tell you in advance where we can.

Liability

Jerry is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions employers make. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited, or our liability for things the law doesn't let us exclude.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and tell you in the chat before a change that matters takes effect. If you keep using Jerry after that, the new terms apply.
